CID List by Product Version Page 1

CID List by Product Version.

Frequently, users require to establish at what version a particular Pattern (CID) was introduced or removed. On this page we provide a means whereby those details may be checked. You can also see which CIDs are supported in Revit.

If you have any comments or additional details regarding the information provided below then please let us know BY POSTING HERE.

  Pattern (CID) #0 to #99 (Show/hide details)

  Pattern (CID) #100 to #199 (Show/hide details)

  Pattern (CID) #200 to #299 (Show/hide details)

  Pattern (CID) #300 to #399 (Show/hide details)

  Pattern (CID) #400 to #499 (Show/hide details)

  Pattern (CID) #500 to #599 (Show/hide details)

  Pattern (CID) #700 to #799 (Show/hide details)

NOTE: Where a check mark is shown the Pattern (CID) was available 'out of the box' in that year's initial release.

NOTE: Where a cross is shown the Pattern (CID) was not available 'out of the box' in that year's initial release.

NOTE: Where reference is made to a Service Pack (SP2 etc.) or Release (R2 etc.) the Pattern (CID) was introduced (or updated) at that revision.

REMARKS:
(a) Use is NOT restricted in the Fabrication Parts Browser but attempting to access will crash Revit.
(b) Fabrication Part will be placed but does not display.
(c) Fabrication Part will be placed in Revit but is placed at Project Base Point instead of where your cursor is located.
(d) Fabrication Part is highly unstable and prone to crash Revit during attempts to Edit or Grip that part.
(e) CID#999 is not a pattern. It will report as Pattern 0. CAMduct uses CID#999 when importing DXF profiles so it may be common to see ITM’s listing CID#999.
(f) In some instances a CID may be shown as unavailable but also as supported in Revit. This is not an error in documentation. ITM’s were created in later versions of Fabrication and tested in services with prior Revit versions to determine this information.

TIP:
You can check all items in your database for Revit compatability by running the scripts located HERE.
