Glue download/ regain access

(1/1)

cadbyken:
I have a project that I am using Glue in.  I was accessing it originally via Navis and/or AutoCAD.

Sometime while using it, I was given the option to download Glue itself (got a message that was something like "it is easier to do use Glue for review or something along those lines).

Well, I have a new computer for work and I don't have a clue on how to install Glue (see what I did there?).  I can again access it via Navis and Autocad but the interface is easier, specifically collisions reports.

We don't have a license for the software.  I guess it was due to the GC?

Anyone know anything about this?

Phred:
I think if you can find you original invite you can download it, or you may be able to download it from autodesk.  I am in the same boat your in - The GC was using it.  Have fun watching the glue dry, because on mine it takes a loooooooong, looooong time:(.  Don't need to buy anything on your end.

ChrisH:
I'm trying to use it for the first time.

I clicked on my invite link, sign up and it says I'm now a member of the group I'm looking for.  Then it says to download and install glue which is already installed.

When signing into glue or navis I only see the sample project I created when I installed glue.

Very frustrating.

Sorry I have no answer, just a long list of question :)  although you guys on here is helping save some of my hair

cadbyken:
They ended up sending me a new link.

DJT:
With Glue you can be linked to multiple projects. The last one that you was in is the one that comes up when you log in. to switch between jobs that you are linked to click on the name of the job at the very top (glue.jpg). It should show you the other jobs that you are linked to. click on the one you want and a box should pop up asking if you want to switch servers (glue2.jpg). Hit yes and it will switch you (glue3.jpg)
