Export Revit piping into CADmep

Good morning guys,
I have Revit 2017 and CADmep 2017.
Is it the same process of export as in 2013 versions? What should I know before start to export?
I read earlier topics and it says I need to install Revit first and then Fabrication
Thanks

I would investigate the new "Design to Fabrication" function in Revit 2017. It can swap out families to ITM content with good results in a properly setup database.
One failing it that there appears to be no way of telling it too use 28od in place of 25dn for instance.
