HIDESELECTEDINVP hides item in other viewports
« on: Mar 17, 2017, 19:10:51 PM »
When using this command, it hides the selected item in other viewports as well. What could be the problem?

I always have the problem the other way around. ISOLATESELECTEDINVP would hide everything else and HIDSELECTEDINVP would work great. Did you copy the viewport? I have seen that be the cause.

Its because your viewports are copies.  Make new viewports

You have to understand that this command only works properly when applied to Fabrication CADmep objects. This command will act as you described when applied to non CADmep objects such as lines, blocks, hatches, or any other basic AutoCAD object. I wish it worked on basic AutoCAD objects, but alas it only works on CADmep objects.
