CADmep 2018 Startup Switch
« on: Apr 18, 2017, 19:26:53 PM »
Anyone get startup switch to work for CADmep 2018? Trying to use /p to change profile, but it won't work. Even tried /w for workspace. I copied /p... from what I have for 2016, just to make sure no typo. AutoDesk changed shortcut to do a direct launch instead of calling up the .arx, so I wonder if that is the issue:

2016 shortcut
"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2016\acad.exe" /ld "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Fabrication 2016\CADmep\CADmep20_1x64.arx"

2018 shortcut
"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Fabrication 2018\CADmep\CADmepLauncher.exe"

I use icon switches as well, the only difference is I start Autocad MEP and keep the .arx for Fabrication CADmep in my startup suite. May want to try that rout.

I wouldn't use the CADmep launcher, rather just use/modify a 2018 ACAD shortcut. The Launcher likely just makes it easier for them to launch the various flavors of Acad that a user may have installed.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.

Old School Shortcut for CADmep 2018:
"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2018\acad.exe" /product ACAD /language "en-US" /ld "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Fabrication 2018\CADmep\CADmep22.arx"
