It should be in your Autodesk Desktop App

I believe it was released a couple days after the initial Revit 2018 release.

Even if you have the 2017 version, copy the 2017 Refit Addins files to the 2018 Revit Addin's folder and it'll work.

Don't believe you get this unless you have sub for Fabrication. Not in My desktop.

Copied 2017. Wasn't sure if anything changed

This won't install the Addin for Revit 2018, hover you can just got to the addin's folder here...

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins

And copy the file for the Revit version it adds it to and copy it to the 2018 folder and it should work.

Got it installed via 2017 addon. Wasn't sure if new CIDs were covered in the assembly.

I don't think the Extension is CID specific. I used the 2017 extension and the new 2018 CID's came in/out just fine. I think the extension is just the vehicle to get the data in and out of the MAJ to Revit. If Revit supports it, it seems to go in/out.

I'm sure that's subject to change but so far I've not had an issue using older extensions in the newer Revit versions when needed in a pinch.

Do you guys have issues with Revit MAJ outputs using this method? We notice a lot of squirrely behavior after the file is in CAM. For example, you might delete an item in one area, and an unrelated fitting gets deleted elsewhere. Or liner won't appear on an item, and if you manually add it back on, it immediately gets taken back off?

We're sending to CAM from Revit still, but not with the AddIn. It was too difficult to stay on top of what wasn't coming out right, and I have to wonder if it's the AddIn, the database, or some combination.

So if you aren't using the addin, which I can't seem to locate anyways, how are you sending to CAMduct?

With the Fabrication API and Revit API, I put something together that bridges the gap.

Someday, I might make it flexible, but right now it's very specific to our uses. Sorry man.

What version of Revit are you using?

Have you seen this?
