Fabrication Version & Build History

Sometimes, users wish to establish if they have the latest version installed. A good way to do this is to cross reference the Build Number of an installation with the Release or Service Pack to which it applies.

We have introduced a page where those details may be checked.

Darren Young is currently evaluating the build for the 2020.1 update. Not sure why but it seems to be delivered as a full version this time. Not seen that before with Fabrication. Also no release notes... Darren has requested them from Autodesk so we'll see what they say.

Just got word, the release notes went live.

Given how this all went down, (updates being released before the date listed on them, late release notes, full install vs Service pack) I'm nervous this update isn't going to go well.

Note that 2022 now separates out the “Build” number and a “Core Version”.

Note: It’s recommended NOT to install this update for CAMduct or ESTmep. Installing the 2022.0.1 Update will prevent access to the Projects folder. CADmep does not appear to have issues with this update.
