I am looking to upgrade from 4 year old Dell. I have been looking at MSI, anyone using MSI. It would be 17", Intel I7, SSD,32GB ram and Nvidia Quadro graphics card.

I'm running MSI at home pushing 3 Monitors and could be happier with it. I bought a reconditioned GT72 and added 2 SSD's a long with the 1TB Hard Drive so it has the Stock 256MB SSD and Stock 1TB Hard Drive along with 2 500GB SSD's. I made sure I bought with with the added internal PCIE Express Slots so I could add more SSD's.

Also if you go into the MSI Forum, there is a guy (Nickname= SVET) in there that has been writing and fixing/Opening the MSI Locked BIOS and NVIDA BIOS, so you can Overclock. I gave him a donation of 20.00 each for his service!

I am preparing my second MSI laptop (GE72MVR 7RG Apache Pro) for use. My first MSI laptop (GX740) has served me well for almost eight years. It is still working well but starting to struggle with the ever increasing file sizes of Navis and Revit 3D models (8gb max ram). My retiring laptop will likely live on in project management.

We are currently running 3 msi workstation laptops with 3 monitors as well ... love them
I just recently had 1 (mine) quit charging, it's under warranty sending it out tomorrow so we'll see how fast they can turn it around. Planning on ordering 4 more as soon as I get mine back... we are replacing our fleet of HP's

Sounds like they work well. I just got a WT72 and just waiting to switch my database and other stuff over to it. It is definitely a large machine but it fits into my backpack so that's good. I got the 17.3 with 32 gig of ram and the 1TB SSD hard drive and the quadro M5500 video card. I have been using my Dell M6800 for 4 years now so it was time to update. I don't have anything bad to say about the Dell just wanted to try something different. Looking forward to 4 or 5 years with the MSI
