Victaulic tools feedback
« on: Feb 22, 2018, 16:40:50 PM »
What is the difference between Revit toolbar and Victaulic tools?
I was able to create assemblies, filters and set my view template in Revit. What is the most beneficial part of Victaulic?

From a plumbing/piping perspective I use the hanger tool exclusively for hanger placement. The Dock tool is great for managing my spools but admittedly not necessary. I'm sure others have regular uses as well and for the price I think the time it saves me is worth it.

I'm probably not qualified at all to put in my .02, but for someone jumping into Revit and trying to "spool", Vic tools streamlines it. We went through the same debate here at work where the a spool sheet consists of what Revit already does, but doesn't streamline it without Vic Tools. That's from my understanding of it. I've only just started using Vic tools in the past few months.
