How would I pull an item from BIMobject into ESTmep, without using Revit? I, currently, do not have Revit on my laptop, so I'm looking for alternative methods that can be used to import new items into ESTmep.

Go to insert and the import button on the ribbon. I know that this works for Fabrication. It has to be a .step file

Do you have a screen shot of what you're describing? There is no "insert" tab in Estmep 2018.

I'm not sure. I was assuming that ESTmep was similar to Fabrication CADmep. the command for CADmep is...
_import
sorry if this doesn't help.

I appreciate your input with this topic. However, that command does not work with ESTmep. This is something that I've been chasing for a little over a year now. Items have to be brought in through Revit or CAD first, then they can be imported into EST. Hopefully this step of going through another program can be restructured to better utilize ESTmep.

Jager427, what version of ESTmep are you using?
