CID#1972 Elevation Issue
« on: May 03, 2018, 15:10:25 PM »
When placing elevation annotation on CID#1972. The tag seems to subtract half of the width of the sleeve. In the attached picture you can see the sleeve elevation is 4" lower then the duct connected to it. We don't usually annotate our sleeves however it required in this instance. I've put a band-aid on it by swapping them for straight duct CID#866 since we will not be send out points just plan view sheets.

I've seen this issue before just never had to fix it until now.

Take a look at this option in your database. It looks like you are reporting the elevation from the bottom of the flange.

I did that and it does fix the sleeve. So thank you

However now the elbows that turn up or down (transfer air) report the same elevation for top and bottom of the duct.

Also there is no flange on the sleeve. I wonder where it's getting the extents from.

Check the part insulation. it may not show graphically but sometimes is written in there. I have had that issue happen.

Thank you, I keep the Insulation locked to "off" for our sleeves.
