CID#1245 Hanger Stretching backwards
« on: Aug 16, 2019, 17:06:11 PM »
I did a Makepat CID#1245 to get a floor stanchion. The top end looks like it wants to be snapped to the centerline of pipe, and is not stretchable. The base plate end is stretchable, but when I grab the grip, and pull it down (negative z) to snap to the slab, the rod length shortens and moves up (positive z). It's like all the Z values are inverted because it's a "hanger" but flipped upside down? What am I doing wrong here?

Those hangers are a pain to work with. Here's a script that will automatically adjust all the hangers to either the soffit or elevation you have them on. This should take the base plate down for you.
