Graphical CNC Part View Label Question...
« on: Jun 12, 2018, 20:51:46 PM »
The assembly people are complaining about the orientation of the new labels because of the CNC views.

The old software had it set up that all labels would go onto the bottom of each part (See photo mock-up)

Some of the orientations on the new labels from CAMduct are "different". Is this something I should just tell them to get used to or is there a way for me to change the orientation?

Here is an example in case I wasn't clear enough. I would like to be able to rotate this CNC view of the back wrapper 90 degrees's so its vertical instead of horizontal. Is that possible?

I just make sure that the plasma operator puts the label on with the correct orientation.
I also have found that including the graphical pattern view helps them understand how the blank they're looking at fits into the whole part.
Here's one of my label's for reference.

Hopefully some of my post is helpful...
