Nested parts off sheet when same size as plate
« on: Aug 03, 2021, 21:08:06 PM »
We nested a part on our tables toda that was the same dimension as the width of the sheet on the "Y" axis.  Instead of flipping the part horizontally to run along the "X" axis, the part ran off the sheet .5". Then I deleted that specific part and nested the other smaller parts by themselves. That resulted in the standard sheet margin for the border working like it should. Is there a way to keep this from happening?

If I understand you correctly, you need to disable checkbox "Edge nest parts equal to sheet width" in Autonest options.

Thanks for the response. I checked database and it was already unchecked. When i nested to our other table, the parts did not run off the sheet. I looked at all the settings between the 2 tables and i couldnt find anything that was different.

Maybe you got "Edge nesting" option enabled on one table and disabled on another? This option is available only in autonest dialog window not in database settings
