Oversize Check During Nesting Process?
« on: Aug 16, 2018, 13:40:55 PM »
Hows it going guys, I have a quick question.

If you right click a fitting that is entered you can find the option "Oversize Check"

Is there a way to add the oversize check to a Setup Process?

Thanks

No, I do not see that option available. I've never used an oversized check, but I assume it checks all parts to make sure it fits?

Anytime I get an oversized part it gives me a pop up that lets me choose where it cuts and my seams etc.

If I choose "Ignore All" then I can do the oversize check prior to sending. I'm guessing this is what you use it for. As a final check. But, if I may ask, why do you not get the popup message prior? I just tried it and when I auto nest it gives me the pop up as well.

The best thing I can think of is to add the field "Items Parts Nested" to what you see then after nesting but before writing to NC. Sort by this field. You will see typical parts like 4/4 parts nested elbows. And if you missed anything. Like a really big elbow. You will see it isn't fully nested. it may be 1/4 parts nested. Or whatever it would only fit without doing an oversized cut and seam.

Yup that was basically it except I had the "Automatically" part at the bottom checked off.
Must of done that by mistake at some point. Thank you
