BIMPRO and FABPRO feedback
« on: Dec 20, 2018, 17:54:29 PM »
Hello everyone,

We are exploring different add ons for spooling in Revit. I was curious what most of you guys use?
Did anyone try BIMPRO for spooling and then push it to FABPRO to track it in fabshop? Any results or feedback?

At AU there were a lot of options to look at but seems like none of them are ready yet to make spool process more efficient than fabrication.

How do you guys currently track your spool packages in the shop?

Victools will Spool Fabrication Parts, I heard it is pretty slick. I dont have 1st hand knowledge but have talked to guy's in past using it with success.
When someone asks where you see yourself in 5 years... Buddy, I'm just trying to make it to Friday. :)

We have been trying both Victools and eVolve.
Can't really give much feedback at this time since we are still at the testing phase, but eVolve is currently more attractive because of everything else it offers; However, Victools is most cost effective.
