DL3D Fill Order
« on: Aug 29, 2018, 16:12:24 PM »
When populating a Design Line (DL) using 3D fill for waste piping runs longer than supplied pipe lengths, the program places the cut piece before full sticks.

Example: On a straight 14 ft section of NHCI piping, the first pipe placed by the program (starting from downstream source) is 3'-11 7/8". It then places the 10'-0" piece.  Actual field installation would be placing full sticks first and then the final short piece.  The last (short) piece could then be listed as field cut - this will accommodate site conditions and/or component tolerances.

Is there a way to change the DL pipe order to reflect the true installation order in the field?

This has been one of the many things that have been brought up but not corrected.  Sadly, looks like it will never be fixed as long as Autodesk owns it.
