How to Mark Duct as Shipped or Hung?
« on: Sep 27, 2018, 17:21:12 PM »
How do we use Fabrication software to mark a piece of duct as shipped or hung?

I have a feeling that we can use a barcode scanner to scan the barcode on the duct right before shipping it out to indicate that the duct is being shipped.  But I am wondering if we are supposed to use any specific app to do this?  Or do we need to write a program and use API to save the new duct status.  And where the data is supposed to be saved into?  Is the data in the .MAJ file or the .DWG file?

I have a lot of experience in developing apps for barcode scanner.  I am just not sure how this is supposed to be done in the context of Fabrication software.

I suppose we can use the barcode scanner to mark the pieces as hung.  Is there any other alternative?

Please let me know.  Thanks.

Jaysom
