Issues with file
« on: Oct 30, 2018, 03:23:33 PM »
We have file which is super slow when modeling and had several things disappear. hangers especially. we have also had random items go away. even when there are multiple instances of them.

We tried to clean it up, purge but it does not help much

Any ideas what it could be?

Take all your Fabrication work and copy out. Open a clean template and paste to exact coordinates. We have this sometimes and the original has something embedded that you can't get rid of. Hope this helps

Is this file only containing Fabrication components or does it contain other imported 3D objects (.stp or .sat files) to depict equipment, etc.?

I have had issues when my files contain imported 3D components for Equipment and have chosen to XREF an equipment file into my piping file to minimize the affects.
