(SSV) abbreviation in structural detail drawing

One note on the detail I'm working on says HSS6X4X1/4(SSV). I know the first part identifies 6x4 square tube with a 1/4" wall. I've been unable to learn what the (SSV) part is. If anyone out there knows, please inform me.

My guess...installation orientation.....Short Side Vertical
This plan lists S.S.V. of HSS tube. It also lists in the notes LONG SIDE VERTICAL & HORIZONTAL SIDE VERTICAL with similar abbreviations.

I think the reason you don't see it when searching on line is it's typically listed as "Long" instead of Short and/or "Leg" instead of "Side".

It can be clearly seen by the 4" dimension (as shown on the attached extract from an elevation on S502) that the steel is to be installed short side vertical.
