Compressed Air service problems
« on: Jan 11, 2019, 06:52:55 PM »
Had to create 2 services for stainless steel compressed air.  From submittals, I've created/modified fittings.  When modeling, the fittings are coming in undersized and connections are boogered.  I don't know if it's something stupid (probably is = me) or more indepth than I thought.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
iez attached.

I don't have a chance to check your iez at this time, but from your description check your materials. Typically the undersizing is due to the material specification information. The connectors are a different thing, did you duplicate existing connectors and modify? Or use existing connectors that are working for something else? If you kept existing connectors just make sure that the sizes referenced are available in those connectors.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'm lost with your comment on material spec info.  Should all match by item or service (each item default to none)?
Connectors were copied and modified to suit.  Do "Nominal" "Inside" "Outside"  diameter types matter?
