I've talked to a reseller and they believe AutoCAD will eventually phase out Fabrication MEP and force everyone to Revit.

They've been saying that for well over ten years. It's much closer, but it still isn't quite there yet.

Well installed Revit 2020 with MEP and still don't see obvious changes. But I'm by far no Revit expert. Maybe they fixed any bugs before adding features!  :-\

CSV exports now added to the Fab Add-In alongside the other reports/maj exports.

BTW, 2020 CADmep seems to have issues with the install package. Haven't tried installing but fails to create a deployment. Reported to Adsk.

2020 CADmep only shows up on 1 of the 3 accounts I have access to. Waiting for Revit 2020 to show up before I install the Acad/CADmep.

Think we lost some functionality. :( I'm going to uninstall Fabrication and Re-install as because of the order I received the software it was not my usual way to install by doing CAD then Revit and lastly CADmep

I did CAD FAB Revit thou I do not think that is issue.

If that is not the case Reports is now missing.

Update:
Uninstalled Fabrication and re-installed with no luck as I thought. Seems the Revit Install does not include the Newest Fabrication Extention's, I did manually load the 2019 Extention's which worked with Revit 2020.

Looking through the Installer files for Revit I do not see Revit Extentions in any directory folder.

We had this issue on 2018 and have found the way to install was Revit, AutoCAD, Fabrication, Fab Extension.
Any other way and it seems to only bring the reports in occasionally, but vary rarely (<10% of the time).

I have it on 2018... and use it extensively, wish it would convert some texts better, it does great with Arial but if the drawings has like standard, is all lines...

Anyone find "What's New" for the Fabrication Products? (Specifically CADmep & ESTmep)
I found it for Revit, but nothing on Fabrication that I can find.

Call me cynical but that probably means there is nothing new for fabrication  ;D

It appears to be fixes only.

My examination showed no new CID's, no new commands, no new post processors, nothing.

If you build network deployments, you'll need a corrected SETUP.INI as there's an error in the one that ships that prevents network deployments from being created. I'll post them once I get them.

I need to get my hands on Fabrication Extensions as the default Revit Install is old, figured they would at least use one of the newer releases in 2020 Revit Installer

I was running it fine yesterday but today the Services and Section toolbar went to a thin vertical line that I can't seem to fix. Anyone know how to fix that? USESYSTEMS doesn't do anything to resize that toolbar.
