Can a corrupt local reference for server based work shared model be deleted?

The model I need won't open due to corrupt data.  All others using it in the room have no problem.  Does anyone know what local file Revit looks at when trying to open a server based project?  The very first time I opened this model Revit didn't have anything to reference locally.  There must be something that could be deleted so that I could open this model as if I am a brand new, just starting to work on this project, user.  There is something fouled and the problem lives only on my machine.

Just open the central model on your server and tick create new local.
You will be asked if you want to overwrite local or append the date to the existing local file name.

I guess I'm confused about where the model is coming from.  The worksharing options aren't available in the Open dialog.

We cleaned out the CollaborationCache and Journals folders here C:\Users\<local user>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2018.  That forced Revit to look at me as a new user for the project.
