service template groups
« on: Jun 11, 2019, 13:53:30 PM »
I noticed that we can now organize service templates into groups.  I also noticed that the groups aren't in alphabetical order.  Does anyone know a fix to this?

Have you tried restarting Fabrication? Mine is in Order. the Service.map is a compressed file.

Might also go to Manage Database, Purge and then compact, of course you have to have blank drawing when doing so

Another oddity is that when i click select all while managing service templates, it actually deselects the service i have selected.  Very odd.

That is very odd.
I actually would want the option in Alphabetical or in whatever order I tell it to be in. May in the future just number them so I can get it in the exact order I need. For me it defaults to alphabetical (but I have never used 2019). Basically skipping 19, right to 20.

I'll install and check 2020 tomorrow morning just to make sure I didn't do something wrong.

no 2018 at work, but going to check now.

Ok made Service Groups and it was putting them in alphabetical Order as I made them in 2019

Installed 2020 and still not in order.  I wonder if they need to be created in order, which would be silly.

Did you by chance create them in alphabetical order or out of order?

I made two at first (Duct-SA + Duct-RA) and thought to myself, I'm not making out of order. so third one I did I made Autodesk-SA and it went right to top of list of groups
