Part Labels Randomly Losing Graphical Pattern
« on: Jul 29, 2019, 20:38:25 PM »
So the shop called and has an issue with part labels. The pattern image and associated info is not printing. The first (or random number of) labels print it then it just drops off....all other fields on the labels print fine. The print preview displays everything correctly. We are using a Zebra ZT410.
I did a search on here with no luck after doing a quick troubleshoot. Any Ideas???

It could be that the image placeholder on the label needs to be re-sized a bit smaller to ensure it always prints. Can you post a screen shot of the label highlighting which part only prints sometimes?

Could be, but it is very random. Sometimes one or two labels. Stop it and re-print they are fine. If they don't catch it, the pile of labels builds up fast for the trash. Just the opus part view drops off, everything else always prints. So far it has only happened a couple times in the last two weeks. Would like to figure it out tho......

This issue has been raised before, but no solution then either unfortunately.
see thread here - http://www.xtracad.com/forum/index.php/topic,15522.msg103902.html#msg103902

We haven't seen it happen for quite a long time now, but still don't know why.

I don't think the image placement is a problem - it's slap bang in the middle of your label!

I use a Zebra ZT230 which is similar to yours so all I can suggest is see if "Auto adjust printer settings to fit" is checked. if not set it and see if it helps. If it doesn't just uncheck it. I can't see it being that but you never know.... :-\

Hi, we still have the issue. Very random, but lets say when there is more than 20pages with labels, first 15 pages goes ok, rest without graphics. real pain in the ass, very same since CAMduct 2016 all the way to 2025.

Was having a similar issue and the work around I found is to change the printer to "print to PDF", save the print file as a PDF, then print from the PDF. This fixes the issue but adds a extra step and just remember to change back your default printer after. I only do this for jobs with more then 20ish pages to save myself the headache.

I believe the printing issue surfaced following a Windows update.

Have you tried disabling the "Accurate Pattern View Previews" option in the following technical support article?.

I had the same problem.  In my case I just rebooted the printer and it solved my problem.
