Using Takeoffascutin for Wall Sleeves
« on: Aug 05, 2019, 14:13:05 PM »
Hello All!

I am using takeoffascutin to add wall sleeves, and would like them to take into consideration the insulation.  Currently it cuts in the same size sleeve as the pipe.  is there a setting for this?  I want them to act like hangers and select the sleeve size that will go over the insulation.  Do I need a sleeve that is product listed?  I am trying to avoid using the adjust option as it will make sleeves in pipe sizes that are not necessarily standard pipe sizes, (potentially giving me a 3 1/2" sleeve.)

If we start voting now, maybe by 2030 this option will be available in Revit  ;D
