I just tried another clean install. I uninstalled and deleted everything relating to ESTmep and reinstalled 2020.1. Just seeing if maybe something odd was hung up in the folder structure. But that also made no change.

I finally was able to wrestle the old 2020 installs off and reinstall all the 2020.1's and see the same exact thing.

Add Insulation Spec to the criteria. That'll apply the Insulation Spec to the service you're drawing with.

D/L ignores the Service settings for InsSpec.

Hm.. That does work, but since when does it ignore the service settings? We never had that issue previously.

Weird thing is I was trying to add it in "Line > Edit" and it wasn't working, but now it seems to be working.

Correction. It doesn't actually work correctly.
It actually oversizes it too much, 24x24 duct changes to 26x26 inside dimensions, end caps and stuff like that size correctly, but straight duct gets too large using that method.

Now in Revit you have to draw with a service that has no insulation spec assigned and then assign it and it will upsize correctly. If you draw with a service that has it assigned, even if you unassign, then reassign it does not oversize it correctly.

There are a multitude of issues at play here with this which didn't occur in previous versions.

Anyone else also having issues with their changes to the "Utility Bar" not sticking? Once I reopen EST the changes don't stay anymore in 2020/2020.1.

Can you post a screencast video so I can test?

How does the 2020.1 update affect Revit? Seems like Revit will do it's own thing as it doesn't even need EST.

Draw in Generic Revit parts and then use the Design to Fabrication button. That uses designline logic and it seems like 2020 broke that as well in the same fashion.

Regarding the end cap, I know they did some work around stepdown connectors a while back..I'm wondering if that's causing this.

Hangers also around oversizing. And the duct is oversizing both inside and outside dimensions when you apply it like that, which is also incorrect.

In the screencast you can see it pushed the 24x24 duct to 26x26 inside dimensions instead of outside.
