New Notch Option
« on: Nov 20, 2019, 21:11:28 PM »
In addition to the notching at the seams, there needs to be a way to create or control the bend notches in the middle of an item.

In addition to the notching at the seams, there needs to be a way to create or control the bend notches in the middle of an item.

In the Item Options you can change the fold notches to use a Vee Notch or same as your seam notches by selecting "Use Default" or "Use Vee Notch"

I like the screw tabs on your step downs.
So what I am trying to do is create a oversize seam notch for REC./RAD. ELL'S, Offsets, Etc. So that when I run the  oversize TDC seam you can then turn the piece 90 degree's and run the TDC connector without running over the oversize TDC seam that I just ran. After machining we screw the oversized seam together instead of a standing seam. Since it is not a fold notch don't know how to get it to notch up into the part correctly and then have it still notch the male seam correctly.

I this is what you are trying to accomplish - I added 2'' to both the male and female oversized/standing seam and then referenced a notch that has 0.00 and 0.00 across the board with notch out selected.

Does any one know how to remove the notch that's created in this attachment from the male side of the part?
I only need it were the TDC will cross each other on the left side of the Elbow cheek. There has to be a way. I have seen notches on the segmented connector that run up into the body of the elbow but it then leaves no lap to seal it.
