New Systems
« on: Mar 27, 2020, 15:23:32 PM »
Greetings!

I am the CAD manager for a mechanical contractor. I've been tasked with finding a new company that can provide new programs, estimating, CAD and CAM. We are not happy with our current provider.

So what is the industry standard that everyone uses? I'm sure everybody uses different company's. Is there one program that dominates over all? I'm looking for web sites. not contact information. (Im aware of Autodesk Fabrication Suite, which I've used in the past.

Thanks,
The CAD Dude

If you looking for a program that offers one data source for CAD, CAM and EST, Autodesk Fabrication will be the suggested software package on this site. AD Fabrication can also be loaded into Revit.

Here's a good post on other programs out there.
