Batch modify in Stratus
« on: Sep 14, 2020, 20:06:12 PM »
Any way to batch modify info (ie tracking status)? When releasing spools, my current workflow is going into each spool and clicking the dropdown menus for each one.

In the CAD world I bulk modify everything possible, so doing things one at a time feels like taking a step back. I do see the earning potential here and the long term benefits.

If the spools (assemblies) are in a package, changing the tracking status of the package will cascade down to the spools (assemblies) provided you have it configured that way.

Darren, you ever get tired of hearing 'thank you'? Well ... Thank you!

Hind sight is always 20/20, but this helps a lot.

You may also need to look at your "Applies to Package" and "Applies to Assembly" settings for each Tracking Status.  That can impact what cascades down to the spool.
