Linear Feet of Duct Sealer

(1/1)

cnash:
I was wondering if anyone reports linear feet of duct sealer?
If so, how are you getting that reported? We haven't messed with the basic duct sealer ancillary information as previously we didn't break out that information but we are looking in to doing so.

Any insight would be appreciated.

dexyweescot:
Try using seam lengths and a calculation of how long you get out a tube of a 6mm bead.

cnash:
So, Back to this.
After doing some digging from what I can seem to find it seems like duct sealer is only getting applied on longitudinal seams.
How is everyone applying and calculating sealer to end connectors?

cadbyken:
We are not reporting this but a formula like below should work:

--- Code: ---Length of seam + (2 * width of C1) + (2 * height of C1) + (2 * width of C2) + (2 * height of C2).
--- End code ---

You would want to use the calculated field to make this work.

One of my issues is not only reporting now, but actually having it in the software so we can cost it in ESTmep as well as report total linear feet/lbs
