Anyone figure out a fix for Double Wall in 2019-2021?

So, starting in version 2019 it seems like doublewall doesn't work correctly.

For example in 2018 and before you apply a 2" insulation doublewall on a 24x24 piece of rectangular duct and use the criteria to inside Dims & inside Skin and it keeps the inside dimensions to 24x24 and makes the outsize skin 28x28. Starting in 2019 all the way to 2021 it just downsizes the inner skin to 20x20 and leaves the outer skin 24x24.

Also, I'm not sure what version it broke tbh but hangers on doublewall seem to always go to the inner skin.

I'm thinking I need to start re-evaluating how we need to calculate doublewall going forward.

Correct.
I forgot to mention it mostly affects designline more than anything else.

I'm not sure if the program figures liner the same way. i was having the same issue with previous builds but currently when I apply a liner with inside dims its actually sets it to free airspace inside. I just tested with 12x12 duct and 1.5" liner and it has put the outer skin as 15x15. I'm currently using 2021.

The "Dims Inside" is basically Airside dimensions. Always has been. Any liner applied will increase the sheet metal size. To maintain sheet metal sizing and decrease the airway size. The Dims setting should be set to Outside.
The inside dim option has a lot of issues on reporting correct lengths on fittings, shoe placement connecting to the liner within Revit. We use it for take-off within Est, but our Fab shop and drawing office is set to metal size. Outside dims.

Has anyone figured out  how to get the insulation the follow the outer not the inside of the skin?

I am still having issues with some insulation sizing inside skin. Anybody else having issues with this still, or am I doing something wrong? We have been nesting the metal then changing some parts to single wall lined and nesting the insulation that way.
