I especially like the way you can edit lengths of Unistrut, without having to stretch them to reference planes or detail lines.

Above linked installers and automatic updates for VM v1.48 2019-2023 are now available. Some new features include size and weight restrictions for assemblies and packages, tag location overrides, and custom data access for CAD/CAM/EST integrations.

I appreciate the feedback. Our license information is clearly visible and the first link on our downloads page. I have modified the OP to include the freemium product model.

If there is a better place to ask this kind of question please let me know.
I'm trying to figure out how to refresh the "VDC SPEC" parameter. Some of my parts have this parameter blank and I would like them to all update correctly.

Unfortunately each subsequent update of the free version brings more locked out features.

There are more free tools than ever, and we are confident that after trying the free tools, you will never want to go back. Try our new and improved modeling tools for example, they are extremely good.

The hanger, sleeve, assembly, and tag automation tools that VM provides are driven by the VM Services Database. Free versions of the software can modify this database, however copying, saving, importing, and exporting this database has always been a premium feature. All VM Service Database changes for free users are reset between Revit sessions. The intent was for free users to be able to use the advanced automation tools for testing and evaluation purposes, however in hindsight, this is not the experience we wanted provide our potential customers. We have since added a fully functional 30 day Pro Trial. Contact us today to get the full premium experience, free for 30 days.

That said, if you are using VM with great success on your multimillion dollar contracts, we absolutely suggest that you purchase a professional license. The software more than pays for itself on the very first project.

I have updated to the latest release of VM R22 and all the tools are grayed out.  I uninstalled, re-downloaded, re-installed and same thing - All toolbar buttons grayed out.  What's up with that?
