Managing Pricing for Piping
« on: Mar 03, 2021, 16:02:37 PM »
Curious as too what everyone thinks the best practice is on managing pricing on the piping side of the program. Using the discounts seems slightly cumbersome. Our multipliers often don't scale depending on sizing of piping or if we solicit pricing from different supply house with different manufacturers. Are you keeping your multipliers constantly updated and have many of them or are you outputting to excel and putting the final touches on pricing that way? Any help is appreciated.

95+% of our items are list cost with multipliers that get updated regular basis. This is typically easier than it currently is due to the volatility of the market right now.
For the items that are not list cost with multipliers we use net pricing which we also update on a regular basis.
