Double Wall Insulation

Can someone help me out here. I am setting up double wall and the insulation pattern is following the skin (set to inside) is there a button somewhere that will allow for it following the outer duct? The insulation is patterning on my duct work correctly before I turn on the double wall button?

I'm working on that now. I don't seem to see any option to drive the insulation to follow the pressure vessel not the skin. This is how my insulation is set up and works perfectly. Is there another option to set up double wall insulation hiding somewhere?

Double wall is F'd up in most of the newer versions of CAM. Might be fixed in the upcoming 2022 but if it is, it'll likely break a lot more things.

Turn off doublewall and leave it just lined to process the insulation and outer metal. Then turn on the double wall to nest the perf. If you get additional liner because it's based off the inside of the perf, you'll have to remove it from the nest.

Kind of a 2 step jacked up process but that's how Autodesk is driving "industrialized construction".

Is what most contractors are doing? It sounds like it would be an easy fix but clearly not if it doesn't work!

Nope. Unless they fixed it in 2022.

I am running 2021 CAMduct.  What is funny is some fittings work fine on double wall and some don't. I am using the same end around to make it work.  This would make a nice present from CAMduct as it seems to be more common place.
