Revit 2022 seems to be missing the functionality to export MAJ fabrication job files.

Becareful about updating your files as you might just lose the ability to export jobs for fabrication. There is no available download for Revit extension MEP fabrication 2022.

Autodesk needs to get their head on straight, this is a mighty big oopsy

Yeah they said this was left out of the build by accident and will be added as an update in a few weeks.

Here's how to enable them until Autodesk releases the 2022 update....

I've setup a Revit 2022 version on my station to do some testing and I don't seem to be missing any functionality for Fab parts. I did install the recently released extension, but as per Darren's blog post the export functionality is "supposed" to be missing but I seem to have it without doing any modifications.

They released the add-ons a couple days after Darren's post, we tested and all add-ons are now installed with Revit, and there is also an update to get them if you don't have them

So this addin is there but it won't create the MAJ file. No errors just lets me pick the folder to save it in and then nothing. No file, no error...

I have reported this issue to Autodesk. There seems to be an issue when saving to a networked location. Save it to your computer locally and it should work without issue.

Should be fixed in 2022.0.2.

But sadly, there's some other issues in there that prevent me from using 2022.

Resurrecting this discussion. The problem still exists. Have to save the MAJ file to a local drive in order for this to work.

Revit Version 2022.1.1

Anyone else still having these issues?

Thanks

Yup, still can't export a MAJ. I tried re-installing Revit 2022 and that seemed to fix it for awhile. :(

More good news.....just kidding.....you cannot MAJ export out of 2023 to a network drive either. you must save it to a local location.

Yup and for some reason it's also not working in '22 for me anymore either.

For whatever it's worth, this bug is also present in the API method.
