we dont use it, but ESTduct.
We have been using EST for a long time.I am talking specifically how one is costing in EST.Product lists? breakpoint tables? Just exporting total pounds? Any other ways?
I will be very interested in learning this also, if anyone has any info?
I'm setting it up that if it's fabricated in shop to pull cost via weights for rectangular. We buy all round so that would be pointed to a pricing table, either product listed or breakdown depending on fitting.
Looking at breakpoint tables for round but you can't really do it for special fittings if you want to have different costs per gauge. So I'm interested in seeing how others are doing it.
Why not?
If you looking for material cost, product listed items can be pointed to a price list similar to pipe items. Create unique codes for each size. If your fabricating and I'm assuming your using a specification to drive material and gauge, material cost will pull from the value set at the material (cost $/lb) field. Ancillaries can be assigned to connectors, which will be assigned to the spec. Make sure you have a cost set to each ancillary to see it in the cost breakdown. If it's not in the cost breakdown, it will not report out. For your F-Times and E-Times, you can use filters and value sets assuming your using a breakpoint table
