Report Damper Material & Weight
« on: Jun 21, 2022, 20:07:07 PM »
I have a report created that reports the area and weight of all the duct separated out in cut & service types, but it will not report the material weight & area for machine cut dampers. The attached images show the nests and Weight & Area report for the same project. There is 22 gauge in the nests, but the material doesn't report an area or weight. The Report is set-up to report the information from the items, not the nests.

I failed to mention that the 22 gauge is all damper blades. It doesn't matter if the damper is entered as part of an item, or as a seperate piece, the area & weight will not report.

What type of report is it? I entered in some dampers, (CID#921), and the material and weight all showed up in Item, Ancillary, and Nest reports when I built a blank reports from scratch for them. Could it be a filter that's excluding them?

It is an Item report. The items are separated by cut type and service type. The material breaks out in every other type of report I have tried, but not the Item report.

Do you have any filters applied to any print objects? What print object are you using to report damper? I know there's the option for the damper in the part and then there's a stand alone damper item that can be used.

I changed the stand alone damper so it now reports. The "applied" dampers are actually reporting the weight and area, but it is being applied to fitting material & gauge instead of reporting it on the damper material gauge. I sent the issue to Applied and after digging into it they determined it is an issue within the program that Autodesk will have to fix.
