Castellated Tabs
« on: Sep 20, 2022, 13:12:06 PM »
I'd love to be able to have the castle tabs options for all the round fittings. When we make conical taps we use tabs on the fitting body and clinch it to the base plate. CAMduct's offering for this puts the tabs in the hole which is backwards to our process but will still work, but I can't get this done in CAMduct despite having the option enabled and configured. When I need to make several of these I have to delete them from my MAJ and re enter them in Fabshop (which handles this easily).

I would like to see the option on flat round taps off rectangular as well. We use a Norlock clincher to assemble our saddle taps as its very fast. I can trick a saddle tap to mimic a flat tap but it will not generate a dynamic hole in rectangular and it will not attach to rectangular duct with set attacher arrow. So close, yet so far!

Yes, but whether they do anything about it is a different matter.
