Costing breakpoints straights/fittings
« on: Jan 12, 2023, 06:52:53 AM »
Hi all. In database wastage I setup different break points for straights and fittings as attached photo, But I see when I check in cost break down, straight is taking in account the one I had setup for fittings (photo) Any idea?

I figure it out. For straights to be able to get from the straight breakpoint table, the Item must be flagged in properties, cut type ---> decoiled straight. Not all straight CIDs have  this option. CID#866 have that option.

Another thing to keep in mind, when cut type is set to machine cut straights, these are considered fittings in the specs and other tables. This explains your first question and it following the fittings settings. I still get caught on this one and forget when looking at machine cut straight issues.

To change that behavior you can go to  Database > Fittings > Pattern Options > General >  Machine Cuts Straights - Straights or Fittings dropdown.
