Item Properties - Options - Catalogue
« on: Mar 20, 2023, 15:10:17 PM »
Does anyone know how to uncheck the "Catalogue" flag in multiple items in a drawing?

Not sure why you would want to do that.  Typically, catalogued items contain multiple sizes.  If you did, the itms would go back to a default size, loose connectivity, etc.

In this case, it is a drawing that I have picked up that needs a lot of mods.
Somehow, the originator has every single item set as catalogue - such as rectangular straights etc. No product lists, no set dims or connectivity. I just want to set them correctly.

Yeah, I tried via scripting but didn't find an easy solution.  May be others with chime in.

I dug into this a little further using the reference on Darrenjyoung.com.  The field item.catalogue is set to read only.  Make sense since trying to write to that field would destroy the sizes in most cases.

I will have to remember this trick.  Seems like an interesting way to protect work within the model.

you should be able to hold shift + right-click on the ITM in the library folders and select "uncatalog"
