I'm seeing a similar result in the images as far as fitting lines vs cut lines, but my developments are the exact same across several different patterns.

Are your developments different sizes between 2020 and 2024 VP?

So far, we have only noticed it on S&D Connectors not working on 2024, but who knows what else is lurking in the background until you need that particular system/specs/connectors...

CID 8 & 28 (square to rounds) notch developments are bad.  It notches the lap seams back on the rectangular side.  Not seeing an issue with S&D connectors though - see a difference in the fitting vs cut line, but the overall development/cutline looks the same.

Hi, i believe we have this issue reported already, and i are looking to fix it in an update.

Could you provide me your dataset just to confirm?

Thanks

They aren't listening to anyone, except their pockets. If a solution makes monies they will do it in two weeks.
If you already paying for your licenses and subscriptions, they don't care.

Sad but the reality

Is that notch issue a graphics display issue or an NC code issue too?

I've seen in the past where the graphics don't always match the output.

In one case, looking at the Developments from the Item properties didn't match the nested development which didn't match the code.

Make sure you submit it as a defect or we'll live with it for the next 10 years.

Not only a graphics display error, it also nested that way, luckily our CAM guy had eagle eyes on the sheets as it was nesting and saw the issue, otherwise we would have had an entire floor with wrong ducts... PHEW!

I'm not sure I am going to submit this to Autodesk, I think they black listed me LOL, I had so many errors thru the last 10 years that they refuse to fix, why would they listen to me and fix this now... maybe a very large company using 24 can submit...

nseibert, already supplied autodesk with support files because i did submit this as an issue.  Last correspondence said it was kicked to from product support to development with many disclaimers about how that doesn't mean the issue is solved, going to be solved, or then when of it all.

Perhaps customers can submit their bad fab to include in Autodesk's green/sustainability metrics.
