When we have small shallow ductwork such as 100mm (4") deep we tend to use slip joints rather than flanges.
These are in direction of airflow, L.E. - S.E.
These show fine in AutoCAD/CADmep, we show the small end as a yellow dashed line that slips 50mm (2") in to the next part that has the large end.
I have had no luck getting these to show correctly in Revit.
Our small end slips on circular ductwork show up in Revit.
We need to show the rectangular small end slips to aid the factory and site teams.
Anyone else use slip jointed rectangular duct ?
Anyone had any luck showing these joints in Revit ?
