Change Unit Precision in Properties Bar
(1/1)
Stricknine47:
I know how to change the precision of dimensioned units using the "UN" shortcut menu. But this seems to have no effect on the dimensions displayed in the property bar.
For example, in the "UN" menu, I have units rounded to the nearest 1/8th inch, and when I dimension a length of duct, it displays as expected. But when I click on that same length of duct, the properties tab shows "Duct Length" to 1/256th of an inch.
How can I change this?

I rather leave the UN alone, instead:
For Dimensions, select one, on properties click Edit Type, look for "Units format", uncheck "Use project settings" and edit it to the desired output. note that this change affects all dimensions placed using this dim style.
For tags, you need to select the tag, edit family, select the tag, click Edit Label, select the parameter, and then click "edit parameter units".
