Export Item Data Fields
« on: Sep 12, 2023, 22:13:46 PM »
When I export F Time and E Time, the cells come through as time and not a number.  Is there a way to get the times to come through the txt or csv file as a number and not a time?

You could set the decimal places to 0.

You can use a file as a template with the correct formating and import your file.  It is called Power Query.  I haven't used it yet but it is referred to here http://www.xtracad.com/forum/index.php/topic,17097.msg112019.html#msg112019

What kind of number are you trying to push out? Hours? Minutes? Jona has the right idea here.

In my exports, I want hours. So what I do is add Item Installation Time and then a calculated field right below that. On the Item Installation Time, I set it to minutes with 0 decimal places and in the Column tab, I uncheck "Output" so this data does not show in the data export. Then in my calculated field, I check "Output" and set the calculation to (Item Installation Time / 60). This will give decimal hours for my exports.
