Exporting 3D View From Revit to Navis
PipeFitter72:
I currently use a dynamo routine that adds a material. The material added will be named something generic like CHWS (for chilled water supply services. CHWR, CWS, Cond, etc. Then if the service name contains the name of the material, the material will be added to all parts in that service. This way the color is there for anyone who opens the Navis files. I have my developer writing a ribbon button for us so we don't have to rely on Dynamo as much going forward.

I did the same. I used dynamo at first and then made a tab for our company with buttons, and that is one of them.

What is the view name supposed to be? Navisworks Export?
My memory has faded after being away from Revit for a while. I thought the program was particular about name of view.
PipeFitter72:
In Revit go to the navisworks settings. You can set what you want to export.
