We have several Auto lengths that we use to minimize reinforcements.  In the same service spec, our STD Straight lengths are 60 and 29.5 with the switch over at 96".  Currently all standard length ducts (set to Auto) go to the decoiler but the decoiler is only set for 60".  How do I get the shorter length duct to not be sent to the decoiler?

We use a script to change  things from decoiled to machine cut under certain conditions.

You should be able to make a schedule with that length and sizes also include the length option and change that value from auto to value.

I has thought about this being the work around but wanted to verify that there isn't a way in the database first.

Not through scripting.  Just a normal schedule.  I realize the parameter I am talking about is if you are using VM.

I am bumping this to see if I get any other ways to do it before doing the script.

May be a way to tie them to materials and set the machines and/or decoiler flag.

Thinking of a separate material for those "Short Straights" that's mapped specifically to your plasma and/or has the decoiler flag cleared.

Without seeing your spec setup and service ITM setup,  a little hard to imagine.

Are there separate ITM's for the full vs shorter Auto ITM's?  If so, there's separate Patterns for machine cut, sheared and decoil straights. The one everybody uses however is the one that does them all.

I threw a script together yesterday to help out. The operator has gotten used to using other scripts and has asked for this several times.
