Looking for feedback on Labels.  The issue is that they fade in the weather and not sticking well.  This came up at in innovate conference this year however, I can't recall the solution or the company that solved it.

I saw UV labels on Uline and I've heard of UV ink, but I'm not sure what type of printers is was for.
I've looked at a plotter before that used Tyvek paper and UV ink pellets specifically for outdoor use. That was with OSE.

I just put together a short buyer's guide to labels and printers for our website. It includes links to a public Amazon wishlist and might be helpful. Please forgive the breathless introduction, my marketing guy couldn't help himself.

Most durable thing I have found is a polypro label printed with resin using a thermal transfer printer. This is what we use in our weld shop and they hold up pretty well.

https://www.zebra.com/us/en/products/supplies/ribbons.html will show you some the different resins ribbons and their use cases. You can check Honeywell and a few others as well. This along with an appropriate UV/Weather proof stock will hold up to a pretty serious beating.

I worked with a guy at barcodefactory.com who was very helpful in picking something that worked for us. I recommend getting in contact with a supplier and let them know what you are doing so they can help you fin the best solution and you can get it on auto replenish. hope that helps.
