Disappearing Faces

I found some older threads on this topic but nothing definitive-what could be causing this? Played with all the graphics performance settings and no luck. Noticed I can make it happen by switching between open drawings after shading or orbiting in one then pop back in the other drawing and faces gone....Thanks in advance for any input!

I just got a new machine with a AMD Ryzen Threadripper, 128 GB ram and NVIDIA RTXA4000 card. It is happening much more now than with my old machine And IT is baffled-

Looks like the same issue I am having, the fittings are actually disconnecting from your service. Are you in 2024?

Yes,24. There are posts from many years ago with the same issue-a couple suggested a cache issue.

Seems it is a profile thing. If I have 2 drawings open that use different profiles repeats every time I switch between drawings. Multiple drawings open with same profile-no issue.

I remember faces missing in a 2d view once. I think closing the view and reopening cures it for a while.

Have you payed with these settings?
I always have issue with LTscale dashed line showing and constantly unchecking Advance Material

Well I thought we narrowed it down to the profiles. It surfaced again with 3 drawings(L1,2,3 same job profile)open. It seems if the drawing is open and sits idle it produces same result once you pop into it. Two drawings with two profiles switching between them I can make it happen immediately. I played with all the graphics settings, updated driver etc.
The only way to bring the faces back is to close and reopen the individual drawing......

Exiting a shaded mode to 2d wireframe produces this issue consistently with 2 drawings using 2 different profiles same session-
