Hidden Lines

In setting Hidden lines, it seems that it does to much ( Duct, ceilings, lights, etc......) or not enough. Has anyone found a way or setting to just have fabrication parts show hidden lines? Or just fabrication parts, diffusers or any 3D family you have inserted into your model
